Abstract

ABSTRACTThe program to reduce the development of dental caries in elementary school children has not been optimal. So far, the reporting mechanism of the inspection results is still manual so that the resulting data is inaccurate and incomplete. The dental caries management geographic information system (SIG-MKG) provides dental caries distribution data in support of effective and targeted handling. The purpose of this research is to produce a decent SIG-MKG and its application effectively improve the behavior of dental and oral therapists and the quality of data and information. The methods used are Research and Development and pre-experimental design method. Respondents numbered 30 to assess the behavior (knowledge, attitude, and action) of Dental and Oral Therapists in the application of SIG-MKG and the quality of data and information. Expert validation test on SIG-MKG obtained an average feasibility of 97.23%. Assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and actions after treatment increased significantly compared to before (p=0.001, p=0.032, and p=0.001, respectively). Quality of data and information improved significantly after treatment (p=0.001). Behavior affects Dental Caries Management Quality and Quality of data and information (p=0.001).It can be concluded that SIG-MKG provides a significant improvement in the behavior of Dental and Oral Therapists in the application of SIG-MKG and the quality of data and information compared to before. Keywords: Dental Caries Management; Geographic Information Systems.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBackground : Low Birth Weight Babies are newborns who weigh less than 2500 grams at birth. The LBW mortality rate is 35x higher than for babies with birth weights of more than 2500 grams. The method used in caring for babies with low birth weight is Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). KMC is an effective way to meet baby's basic needs, namely warmth, breast milk, and affection. Purpose : Analyze the effectiveness of the KMC method for body temperature stability in low birth weight infants. Methods : Determine the topic, determine the formulation of the problem, determine the objectives, search for data sources and journal selection. Journal search uses electronic databases namely google scholar, Wiley, and Pub Med, with the keywords used “metode kangaroo mother care, kestabilan suhu tubuh, BBLR or kangaroo mother care method, stability of body temperature, LBW”. Results : The journals that were sampled in this study were 14 journals resulting from experimental research and literature studies with the results of the Kangaroo Mother Care Method affecting the stability of body temperature in low birth weight babies (LBW). Conclution : From the literature study it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving kangaroo mother care method to the stability of body temperature in low birth weight babies with p value 0.05.

Abstract

ABSTRACT          The low coverage rate of exclusive breastfeeding at the Sayung II Health Center based on data from the Health Profile of Demak Regency in 2020 is 52.8%, influenced by several kinds of factors, one of which is that educational activities about exclusive breastfeeding have not been maximized. Education is an activity that can provide the ability and knowledge to someone or more by learning. Scrapbook is one of the media used for education and entered into 2-dimensional media whose shape is according to the wishes of the maker by sticking technique. This study aims to determine the effect of scrapbook media education on increasing the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the Sayung II Health Center. The research design used a quasi-experimental research design and this research design used a pretest-posttest with control group. This research was conducted from March to April 2022. The sampling method used a total sampling technique with a total sample of 48 people. Data analysis used Paired Sample T-test. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding after being given education in both groups. In the intervention group a p-value of 0.000 0.05 was obtained and the control group obtained a p-value of 0.000 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of education with scrapbook media on the knowledge of pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIntroduction : Ultrasound examination (USG) is a modality that is real time, fast, has high resolution, and is dynamic, but ultrasound has shortcomings in displaying the anatomical context presented by CT and MRI, therefore fusion imaging connects several imaging modalities (hybrid imaging) between real time ultrasound, CT and MRI which are useful in providing anatomical information that help each other, besides that it can also be used for biopsy. Case Illustration: In real time ultrasound imaging, the author uses the Phillips brand ultrasound modality with a premium class Epiq 5 type which is equipped with Percunav imaging software and prepared equipment such as a transmitter, patient tracker, Ultrasound tracker (sensor bracket) and the probe used is Convex 5-1 .Discussion: We can see the focal nodule contour in real time with hybrid imaging, and we can compare the diameter of the lesion between the two modalities. In addition, with realtime ultrasound, we can see metastases by looking at vascularization using Doppler. Conclusion: In this 4.0 era, fusion imaging (hybrid imaging) plays a very important role in diagnosis, staging and follow-up during treatment. Fusion imaging allows good control during the review of liver lesions so that no re-exposure to radiation is used.

Abstract

ABSTRACTProblem Statement : An increase in blood cholesterol levels is one of the triggers for stroke and coronary heart disease which is the biggest cause of death in Indonesia. For those who have high cholesterol levels, exercise and diet are the main keys to lowering cholesterol levels. One type of exercise that can reduce blood cholesterol levels is the Indonesian Elderly Fitness Gymnastics (SBLI) so that it does not affect heart function. Methods : This study uses a literature review by comparing related research journals that have been published by at least 10 journals to determine the effect of fitness exercise for the elderly in Indonesia (SBLI) on the reduction of cholesterol levels in the elderly. In this study, the initial journal literature was collected as many as 12 journal literatures and then filtered 7 journal literature in accordance with related research and then conducted a review. Search strategy for research articles using Google Scholar, Jurnal Kesehatan Kusuma Husada, Jurnal Ilmu Kedokteran dan Kesehatan, URECOL, Jurnal Biomedik (JBM), Digilib Unnes, Jurnal Sistem Kesehatan, Jurnal e-Biomedik (eBM), e-journal Undiksha,  Institutional Repository UNS, Jurnal Keperawatan Respati Yogyakarta and Semantic Scholar. The keywords used are cholesterol, the elderly and fitness gymnastics for the Indonesian elderly. Inclusion criteria include articles indexed nationally and internationally, publication year 2009-2019, original research, full text. The exclusion criterion is if the research design uses a qualitative design. The articles obtained were as many as 7 journal literature, analyzed in table format containing the researcher, research subject, year, measuring instrument, measurement results, research results, and comparison with proposed research. Results : A total of 12 preliminary journal literatures were collected and then filtered 7 journal literature according to related research and has the effect of reducing blood cholesterol levels. This shows that there is an effect of Gymnastics for the Indonesian Elderly (SBLI) on blood cholesterol levels in the elderly. Conclusion : Indonesian Elderly Gymnastics Fitness (SBLI) is able to reduce blood cholesterol levels in the elderly.
